The disclosure of massive tax evasion and arrears should dispel any idea that Ireland was a poor country back then.

Many of the settlements made with the Revenue by individuals and businesses for massive sums prove that Ireland wasn’t as hard up as it seemed and a lot of people liked to put on the poor mouth.

It’s time the propaganda stopped and everybody paid their fair share.
