YESTERDAY’S pictures and headlines about the royal wedding were relatively benign, in sharp contrast to those of the day before.

This was when British media lost its marbles over Prince Charles indulging in a handshake with Robert Mugabe at the Pope’s funeral, which Mugabe should never have been permitted to attend.

The handshake provided another excuse to demonstrate hostility to a couple pilloried by the tabloids as immoral, ugly and old.
