Letter to the Editor: Ireland puts unnecessary difficulties in the UK’s way

Your headline, ‘Brexit calling time on the rural Irish pub’ (Irish Examiner,November 25) gave me a wry smile, knowing that, within walking distance here in urban Maidenhead, The Crown has shut down, The Farmer’s Boy is being demolished, while the Craufurd Arms has survived by becoming a community-owned pub — and none of this has much to do with Brexit.
