Readers Blog: Ironic to always ask the US to unite Ireland

Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams, is going back to the US to secure a border poll in the next five years in Northern Ireland.

This is more evidence of Sinn Féin’s rejection of devolution and their quest for a united Ireland. Every time Sinn Féin need support in talks, they reach out to America.

Clearly, there are signs they are losing their footing in the current era of exasperating talks and it is time to bring in the cavalry.
