Wouldn’t it be lovely to see the seats for the show filled with children?

There are so many sick and disabled children and one in four of thehomeless people living in hotels are children.

It would be fantastic to bring some of these children out of their hotel rooms to the RTÉ studios, so they could forget their sad situation for a few hours.

Sick children in Temple Street and Crumlin children’s hospitals would love to have an opportunity witha parent or a carer to attend such a magical night.

The adults in the toy show audience will probably come from comfortable backgrounds and will receive all the goodies and vouchers which could be given to the families in hotel rooms.

After all, Christmas is supposed to be all about giving and what a better way to show it than by giving joy, excitement, and utter happiness to children who would cherish the memories. Adults will forget about the show soon after the event, whereas children will remember it for a long time.
