It was my elderly mothers birthday. I was wondering what to get her for a present. Chocolates, flowers, clothes? 

I sat beside her on the couch. "Mum" I said. "What do you think is the finest present anyone could receive?" She smiled lovingly at me, She still had that twinkle in her eye.

"Son there are a lot of lonely people in the world. Some feel isolated, and withdrawn. I can tell you the finest gift you could ever give anyone, and it won't cost you a cent!"
