Threat to EU solidarity - Must do better...

Threat to EU solidarity - Must do better...

Mr Orban is a strident nationalist who cares little for the EU and its objectives if they undermine the security of Hungary. His loyalty, as it should be, is to Hungary.

It is almost fashionable, in the way untested ideas become fashionable, to suggest with a furrowed brow that the EU is doomed, that it, as we approach the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome, it will collapse and fade away, making room for the Old Europe to rise from the ashes of the New Europe.
