Will school books depict gay families as a norm?

A Yes vote puts the adult before the child. Marriage, which is between men and women, is the foundation of our society. To change this for an estimated 3% to 10% of the population should not to be undertaken lightly.
Will school books depict gay families as a norm?

Gay people can have a civil union and have the rights of heterosexuals: property, inheritance, etc.

But there are consequences to a ‘yes’ vote. What happens to our children?

Through a process of osmosis — that is, a gradual or unconscious adoption of ideas — children will think that homosexual union is the norm and equal to heterosexual union.

Also, the parental right to have their children taught heterosexual values in schools will be adjusted and waylaid. For example, text books may have to be changed to show two Mammies or two Daddies in a family. What about Johnny coming home from school, saying: ‘I don’t have to marry a girl. I can marry a boy, too?’ What does this mean for religious schools?

What happens in the case of adoption? Will the natural mother have her right to specify into what kind of family her child is adopted?

What of the use of sperm and ova banks to fertilise a child?

Research has shown the best outcome for children is to be reared by their biological parents.

Where is the ‘equality’ of rights for children?

Isn’t it true that advocating a ‘yes’ vote is putting adult preferences before children?
