The speedy completion of a long-mooted greenway in Munster that has cost nearly €16m and seen little of its planned 32km route completed could now actually depend on the fate of a cow shed.

This is because a landowner who owns land through which the South Kerry Greenway runs plans to sue Kerry County Council over a “repeatedly broken” promise to compensate her for her loss of the building.
