Greens’ Lisbon war chest ‘meagre’

THE Green Party will spend only a “meagre” amount on its yes to Lisbon campaign because its resources are low, leader and Environment Minister John Gormley has admitted.

Mr Gormley said he was concerned about a poll showing a fall in the number of people supporting the treaty.

The yes side would have to run a focused, energetic campaign, he stressed.
