'Contradiction' in statements by Mary Lou McDonald and Brian Stanley adding more 'confusion'

Simon Harris called on Sinn Féin leader to 'answer very direct questions' about the complaint against the former Public Accounts Committee chair

Taoiseach Simon Harris  said while he did not want to engage in a 'political back-and-forth', Ms McDonald needed to put all the information out into the public domain

Taoiseach Simon Harris has said there are now “more questions than answers” in relation to Sinn Féin's investigation into a complaint against Brian Stanley.

Mr Harris said the latest statement on Monday from Mr Stanley “clearly contradicts” an earlier interview on Morning Ireland by Sinn Féin leader Mary Lou McDonald.
