Martin denies Government has 'reneged' on plan for 50% cut to childcare costs 

Doubts over plan to cut fees through increase to National Childcare Subsidy

The Tánaiste has denied that the Government has "reneged" on a plan to cut childcare costs by 50%.

In last year's budget, the Government announced a cut to fees through an increase in the National Childcare Subsidy, which lowered fees for some people by 25%.
