The Taoiseach has urged the public to keep their guard up and “protect the hard-won progress" in the fight against Covid-19 as "vaccines are rolled out”.

Micheál Martin was speaking in a video posted on social media as he thanked the public for their "sacrifice" as the country fights back "against a dangers third-wave of the Covid-19 pandemic".
