Pharmaceutical exports could be cut by half if tariffs applies, Tánaiste warns

Export of pharmaceutical products from Ireland to the US could reduce by around a half if the US president imposes a 20% tariff and the EU responds by applying the same tariff, the Tánaiste has said.

With reciprocal tariffs looming, Mr Harris said it was now likely that no deal would be reached between the two sides to avoid this outcome.
