Drugs, suspected stolen caravans, horses and other animals were seized during a major garda operation in Cork city today.

Some 100 gardaí, including members of the Armed Support Unit, carried out searches in Mahon this morning, close to Mahon Point shopping centre.

Drugs, suspected stolen caravans, animals and e-scooters were seized by gardaí, according to reports.

The “high-impact search operation” was targeting criminal activity in the city, according to a garda statement.
