HSE 'aware of concerns' around recent spate of suicide deaths in Kerry

Anyone who is experiencing emotional distress can seek support through their GP, Emergency Department, SouthDoc, or HSE Mental Health Services

A meeting of the South West Regional Health Forum in Tralee heard how 'a dark cloud' was over Killarney, and members called on health authorities to highlight the support services available for those under stress.

The HSE has said it is aware of concerns regarding recent suicide deaths in Kerry, and has urged anyone experiencing emotional distress to seek support.

There is mounting concern in Kerry amid a spate of tragic deaths across all ages in the county in recent weeks.
