Funeral details announced for Scarlett Faulkner's brother Jason 

Jason Faulkner died 48 hours after funeral of sister Scarlett was held in Limerick

The funeral of Jason Faulkner, the brother of Scarlett Faulker, will take place in Limerick on Friday.

Mr Faulkner, aged in his 30s, passed away last Sunday, 48 hours after his sister's funeral.

Mr Faulkner will repose at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin St, Limerick City, from 2pm-4pm on Thursday.

His funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Friday in St Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. 

He will be laid to rest in Meelick Cemetery with Scarlett and other members of the Faulkner family following requiem Mass.

Mr Faulkner was one of the pallbearers at his sister's funeral last Friday. 

A 16-year-old girl and 40-year-old woman are before the courts charged in connection with the alleged attack on Ms Faulkner in Birdhill, Co Tipperary, on March 21.

Earlier this week, the family had warned the public that fake fundraising pages had been created in the names of Jason and Scarlett.

Aisling and Josephine (Joanne) Duffy, who is the partner of Scarlett's brother Thomas, said: “These pages are fake. The Faulkner family will be funding all their own funerals, they would never ask for any donations, they would never ask for any GoFundMe."

Joanne Duffy added: "It's a big family, they all have each other".
