A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a scrambler bike crash in Co Clare on Saturday night.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident on Bóthar Na Luachra, Shannon, just after 11,30pm.
The driver, a man in his early 20s, was taken to University Hospital Limerick with serious injuries.
The scene has been preserved for gardaí to carry out a technical examination of the scene. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward. Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
