Global film and TV leaders to gather in Limerick for first Irish WIFTI summit

International screen leaders will converge in Adare for a landmark summit celebrating women’s creativity, equity and innovation in film and television

The global screen industry will turn its focus on Limerick in February 2026 as the Women in Film and Television International (WIFTI) Summit is held for the first time in Ireland.

Hosted by the registered charity Women in Film and Television (WFT) Ireland in Adare, the 2026 WIFTI Summit will celebrate women’s contributions to film and television.
