Two men charged following seizure of suspected firearm, knife and drugs in Kerry
Searches saw gardaí seize over €160,000 worth of cannabis, over €1,300 of suspected LSD, a suspected firearm, electronic devices, weighing scales, as well as packaging equipment.
Two men have been charged in relation to the seizure of a suspected firearm, a knife and some €166,300 worth of drugs in Co Kerry on Saturday afternoon.
A vehicle had been stopped and searched by gardaí in Killarney as part of an intelligence-led operation. €5,000 worth of suspected cannabis, a knife and a number of electronic devices of evidential value were discovered.
Two men, aged in their 30s and 40s, and one woman in her 30s were arrested and detained by gardaí.

Follow-up searches were then carried out across a number of locations in Killarney, which saw gardaí seize over €160,000 worth of cannabis, over €1,300 of suspected LSD, a suspected firearm, electronic devices, weighing scales, as well as packaging equipment.
The two men have since been charged and are due to appear before Killarney District Court on Monday morning.
The woman was released without charge, and a file will be sent to the DPP.
"Investigations are ongoing," a garda spokesperson said.
