A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Cork and 10 other counties, with Met Éireann warning of strong and gusty winds on Sunday afternoon and evening.

The alert, which also covers Clare, Kerry, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Wexford and Wicklow, will be in effect from 4pm on Sunday until midnight.
