Man in hospital after serious e-scooter crash in Cork City

Gardaí said his injuries are believed to be serious but not life-threatening

A man in his 20s has been taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries following a single-vehicle e-scooter crash in the city on Monday afternoon.

The incident happened on Skehard Road, between the junctions of Silverdale Drive and Parkhill, as the man was travelling in the direction of Mahon at around 3.30pm to 3.45pm.
