Status yellow warning issued for Cork ahead of washout weekend

The warning comes into effect at 5pm and is set to lapse at midnight on Friday.

Two status yellow rain warnings are set to bring wet weather to many parts of the country on Friday and Saturday. 

The first warning covers, Waterford, Wicklow, Wexford, Kilkenny, and Carlow on Friday.
