The Carraig Dún affordable housing scheme in Killeens, near Blarney, will consist of nine three-bedroom semi-detached homes from €320,000.

Plans for almost 90 new social housing units in Cork City have been approved, where homes will be on sale at 20% below open market value.

City councillors approved two separate social housing schemes at their July meeting — one which will deliver 80 new social homes at Glyntown, Glanmire, and the other which will deliver eight new units near Ballincollig town centre.
