Man's body may have lain undiscovered on North Cork road for two weeks
The remains were discovered at Ballymaquirk, Mallow, last Saturday evening.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a man's body was discovered on the side of the road in North Cork and may have been there for up to two weeks.
The remains were discovered at Ballymaquirk, Mallow, last Saturday evening.
Gardaí have said that they do not suspect foul play at this stage.
In particular, they are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a man walking on the road between Banteer and Kanturk on the evening of Friday, June 13, between 3.30pm and 9pm.
Any road users who were travelling in that area at the time, and who may have camera footage — including dash cam — are asked to make the footage available to investigating gardaí.
