'We just want him home safe and sound': Partner of man missing in Limerick pleads for help

Luke Price, 27, was reported missing from his home in Mountkennet.

The partner of a man missing from Limerick has appealed for help as searches continue.

Luke Price, 27, was reported missing from his home in Mountkennet. He was last seen on Tuesday, January 14, at around 9pm on O'Curry Street.

Luke's partner, Etty Vaugs, has been appealing for help on social media, as they "can't wrap their head around it all".

"He's no risk to others. But he is a risk to himself and has been for a while, so we're all very worried. He was in a dissociative state before leaving," they wrote on Instagram.

"He'll often go off on a walk but he's never disappeared like this before and his phone is off. He's not originally from Limerick and doesn't know many areas well. We just want him home safe and sound," they added.

Luke is described as being approximately 6' in height with a slim build, light brown hair and blue eyes.

When last seen, Luke was wearing a black coat, a pink T-shirt, blue jeans and black ankle boots.

It is understood Luke also answers to his middle name, Gabriel. 

Since his disappearance, people in Limerick have been volunteering to look for him. 

On a Facebook group with almost 1,000 members, appeals for help have been posted as Limerick citizens share the areas they have checked, while looking for him. 

Gardaí and Luke's family are concerned for his wellbeing.
