A division of the multinational food giant Kerry Group is transferring a landmark property in North Cork, known locally as the "redbrick building", to a foundation that supports people with special needs.

Kerry Dairy Ireland confirmed the agreement on Tuesday to transfer its historic former administration building in Charleville to St Joseph’s Foundation, a not-for-profit group which provides a comprehensive range of services to more than 1,400 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the North Cork and South Limerick areas.
