Gardaí appeal for witnesses after couple injured in 'brutal' Cork attack

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a "brutal" assault which occurred in Ballincollig, Co Cork, last Wednesday.

The Irish Examiner reported last week that a man suffered multiple slash wounds to his head and arms and his partner was held down, beaten and made to watch his assault during the incident.
