The Crawford College of Art and Design campus and library in Cork City has been forced to close for up to two days following a fire during the heavy rainfall over the weekend.

The Munster Technological Institute (MTU) facility was closed on Monday and will likely remain closed on Tuesday while the damage is assessed and repairs are carried out.
