Torrential rain that pummeled Cork was not enough to dampen the spirits of hundreds of people who flocked to Jackie Lennox’s for the penultimate day of trading at the famous chip shop.

The deluge did not deter those who waited patiently for more than 2.5 hours to get their last portion of Cork history into their bellies.
