Met Éireann extends weather warning for Cork as flooding possible

The warning — which also impacts Clare, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim, and Donegal — will come into effect at 10pm.

Met Éireann has extended their status yellow rain warning for Cork and Waterford - with seven other counties set to be affected on Monday night.

"Heavy and persistent rain" will move across Ireland on Monday evening.
