16 people due in Cork court following 'serious' public order incidents

Some 16 people are due in court this morning following a series of serious public order incidents in Cork on Sunday.

On Sunday evening, gardaí on beat patrol on Oliver Plunkett Street were assaulted while attending to an injured man lying on the ground outside a premises.
