The HSE said that the four residents of Saol Nua will be 'temporarily moving' to Perrott House, with both residences situated on the site of Skibbereen Community Hospital.

The closure of a residential mental health facility in Skibbereen will be on a temporary basis only, the HSE has said.

It emerged on Monday that the four residents of the Saol Nua facility in the West Cork town had been told last Friday, July 26, that the centre was to close within five days.
