Treacherous road conditions following "torrential" rain which resembled a “flowing river” contributed to a crash which killed four young people in Clonmel, an inquest has heard.

A verdict of accidental death was on Thursday returned at an inquest in Tipperary into the deaths of Luke McSweeney, aged 24, from Clonmel, his 18-year-old sister Grace, Zoey Coffey, aged 18, from Kilsheelan and Nicole Murphy, aged 18, from Ballpatrick.
