Cork-born Republic of Ireland midfielder Alan Browne tied the knot in a lavish ceremony with his long-term partner Shauna Lyons over the weekend.

The newlyweds, who have been together for a decade and have three children, celebrated their big day at Powerscourt Hotel in Co Wicklow on Saturday.

The more than 100 guests included fellow Ireland international Robbie Brady and former Cork hurler Dónal Óg Cusack.

Carrying a bunch of fresh flowers and dressed in a high neck, lace-covered wedding gown new bride Shauna beamed on her big day.

Browne looked smart, trading in his training gear for a black tuxedo. The happy couple held hands and posed for photographs on the grounds of Powerscourt following their nuptials.

Photos on their Instagram pages show the couple celebrating their big day with their three children Layla, Hugo, and Cole.

Simply captioned “I do” followed by a love heart and small padlock, Shauna shared dozens of photographs from her special day.

In April, the beautiful mother-of-three marked her hen night in Paris with a group of friends. She also showed off several different stylish outfits during the celebrations including a sequined Charleston dress, as well as a short white gown and jacket with a veil.

Browne, aged 29 years, who is a native of Mahon, has played for Preston North End since 2014 where he has made more than 400 appearances. He made his Ireland debut in 2017.

The midfielder first started out with Ringmahon Rangers, and he went from there to the Cork City academy, where he won the U19 National League.
