Missing Cork teenager found safe and well

Update, 4:45pm: Maia Loftus Amigo has been located safe and well.

An Garda Síochána have thanked the public for their assistance.

Earlier: Gardaí in Cork are appealing to the public for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of missing girl. 

14-year-old Maia Loftus Amigo is missing from her home in Togher since the afternoon of Saturday, June 15.

Maia is described as 5 foot 4 inches in height with a slight build. She has green eyes and her hair is currently dyed black. 

When she was last seen, Maia was wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit trousers, white runners and she was carrying a black bag.
