Thunderstorm warning for Tipperary and eight other counties

A yellow warning for thunder has been issued for Tipperary and eight other counties with Met Éireann warning it could lead to difficult travelling conditions.
The warning is in place until 9pm for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wicklow, Galway and Tipperary.
Met Éireann says isolated thunderstorms with the chance of hail is expected which could lead to difficult travelling conditions, poor visibility and spot flooding.
Meanwhile, Sunday is set to see further outbreaks of rain or drizzle over the northern half of the country but will become drier and brighter in the south with sunny spells and a few showers.
Sunday night then will see further clear spells in the south with light rain or drizzle in the north.
Looking into next week, Monday will start off cloudy with more light rain or drizzle before becoming drier in the day with bright spells and sunny intervals.
Light showers will return on Monday night with temperatures dropping as low as 8C.
Tuesday will see a mix of cloud and sunny spells in the day with a few showers near the northern coasts.
Wednesday should also remain dry with sunny spells with temperatures reaching as high as 18C.
