Yellow warning for Cork to bring heavy rainfall and possible local flooding

Met Éireann says rain will be persistent and very heavy at times, while motorists should be on the look out for some local spot flooding

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow rainfall warning for just Cork this afteroon.

Currently in affect, the alert will remain in place until at least 9pm on Saturday evening.
