Witness appeal after fire and criminal damage to north Cork properties

An Garda Síochána said one residential property was damaged by fire and further damage was attempted at three adjacent properties.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a number of incidents of criminal damage in Mallow last month.

A fire was started in one property shortly before midnight on Sunday April 28 in Rosehall area of Mallow, while there was “attempted criminal damage” to three adjacent properties.

All four properties were vacant at the time.

Gardaí are appealing for people who were in the areas of Rose Garden, Rosehall and Annabella, in Mallow between 11pm on April 27 and 12.30am on April 28 to come forward.

People who may have witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage should contact Mallow Garda Station on 022 31450, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
