A solidarity event to remember road traffic victims on the N20 Cork to Limerick road took place in Charleville this evening.

Ten white balloons were released to remember 10 pedestrians who died on the main street in the town, with attendees carrying banners saying “Charleville says enough is enough” and “We deserve a safer main street”.
