A teacher caught speeding at 102km/h in a 50km/h zone with two infants in the car said: “You were very harsh for stopping me,” when she was caught by a garda speed check.

Inspector Tony O’Sullivan told Fermoy District Court that Katherine Boyle, 57, of Kilronan, Cahir. Co. Tipperary, was observed driving a blue Skoda Octavia at more than twice the speed limit at Church Quarter, Kilbehenny, Co Limerick on April 23, 2022. When she was stopped it was observed that there were two infant children in the back of the car and Ms Boyle told the garda “you were very harsh for stopping me.”
