Cork gardaí use stinger to stop car which fled checkpoint and smashed into cars 

 

Garda used a stinger device to stop a car which had fled from a checkpoint and smashed into a garda car and a number of other cars in Cork this morning.

A man in his 40s has been arrested following the incident.
