Man, 50s, injured following unprovoked attack in North Kerry
It is understood the victim was driving along William Street in the town on Friday night, when another man approached the vehicle.
A man in his 50s has suffered injuries following an unprovoked attack in Listowel, Co Kerry on Friday night.
The incident occurred at around midnight on January 20.
It is understood the victim was driving along William Street in the town on Friday night when another man approached the vehicle.
The driver opened his window to speak to the man. It is understood he was punched in the face.
It is believed there is no connection between the two men.
"No arrests have been made," a Garda spokesperson said.
The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigations are ongoing.
