Three hospitalised following housefire in Cork

Three people have been hospitalised after a housefire started in a residential property in Cork.

Three fire brigades were called to the scene of the electrical fire at a home in Hollyhill Heights, Co Cork. 

The crew managed to contain the fire within the bedroom.

The three injured parties were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire was not being treated as suspicious, a spokesperson for the fire service said.
