Man arrested after gardaí seize gun and €100k worth of cannabis in Limerick

A man, in his 30s, has been arrested and is currently being held at a Garda station in Co Limerick

During the course of the operation, cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €100,000 was seized, along with a sub machine gun, and a number of rounds of ammunition.

More than €100,000 worth of cannabis and a gun has been seized by gardaí in Limerick.

As part of Operation Tara, gardaí carried out a planned search of a residence and lands in the Ballysimon area on Monday.
