Groups hit out at delay in public consultation for Blackpool flood relief scheme

According to plans outlined on the OPW's national flood information portal, the planning process for both the Glanmire and Midleton schemes have taken between 8 and 10 years

Environmental groups have hit out at the Minister for Public Expenditure for failing to hold a public consultation on the Blackpool flood relief scheme, despite telling the Dáil in June it would happen “shortly”.
