A number of night-time closures will be put in place next week to facilitate upgrades on the Dunkettle Interchange.
These closures will allow the erection of the remaining variable message signs over the coming weeks.
This will result in the closure of the N8/N25 eastbound from 10pm to 5am on both Monday, October 2 ,and Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Traffic will be diverted locally via the R639 through Glanmire.
Furthermore, the M8 southbound will also be fully closed between Junction 18, Glanmire North and the Interchange Roundabout on Wednesday October 4 and 5 from 10pm to 5am, with traffic diverted through Glanmire via the R639 also.
The remainder of these variable message signs are set to be in place by the end of October 2023.

On Monday, traffic heading for the N25 eastbound from the tunnel will be realigned slightly, to facilitate access to the outstanding works on Link C.
Works are also ongoing for the completion of Link K and Link M alongside the N25 Westbound.
Surfacing works will take place overnight in the coming weeks, with local road closures and diversions in place.

Meanwhile, surfacing works on the remaining sections of the N25 westbound approaching Tivoli are now nearing completion.
On Monday, the focus will switch to the completion of the remaining bridge expansion joints, which is expected to be complete in the early days of October.
Once complete, the focus will progress to the N25 Eastbound works between the Tivoli Roundabout and the old Interchange Roundabout.
Surfacing works and bridge deck water proofing are due for completion throughout October 2023.
