Toddler dies following tragic accident in Skibbereen

A toddler has died following a tragic accident at his home in Skibbereen, Cork.

Gardaí were called to the home shortly after 9pm on Wednesday.

The fatal incident is being treated as a tragic accident and foul play is not suspected.

The coroner has been notified and a postmortem will be held at Cork University Hospital.
