Students avoided serious injury after a school bus veered off the road in West Cork. 

The incident occurred on the R593 between Drimoleague and Skibbereen on Thursday afternoon when the Bus Éireann bus ended up partially off the road, with the vehicle tilting towards a field.

It's understood that some students were on board at the time of the incident. 

They were safely taken from the vehicle and were not injured.
