Man, 20s, arrested following €140k cocaine seizure in Galway

Gardaí seized cocaine worth €140,000 and over €2,800 in cash.

A man in his 20s has been arrested after gardaí discovered €140,000 worth of cocaine at a house in Galway on Friday.

The search operation also uncovered €2,800 in cash at the house on Newcastle Road.

The man was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Galway garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice, Drug Trafficking Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
